Do you want to shed your tired, dull and lifeless skin and unleash your natural, beautiful glow. Body polishing is a great way to combat the effects of the harsh environment that your skin is exposed to and give you a polished, festive-ready look.
Body polishing is a form of exfoliation that removes dead skin cells and hydrates the skin. Essentially, it uses natural exfoliants that are massaged, scrubbed and rubbed onto the skin to give it a fresh look and feel. For a luxe body polishing treatment, you can visit your favourite spa or talk to your dermatologist. Or better yet, you can do it in the comfort of your home.
BENEFITS OF BODY POLISHING:
–Exfoliates the skin and removes dead cells, thereby promoting new cell growth.
–Unclogs pores and cleanses the skin of oil and dirt.
–Moisturizes and hydrates the skin for a supple feel.
–Promotes the fl ow of blood – thanks to the rough texture of the scrubs and massage technique.
–Relaxes the body and mind.
Giving your skin a little shine and polish is very doable. Start by cleansing your skin. Massage your body with warmed olive oil for 5-6 mins. Then, using a loofa, rub a home-made scrub over your body for 5-10 minutes. To tackle the hard skin on your elbows, knees and heels, scrub gently but fi rmly with a pumice stone. Finish off with a warm shower and a moisturiser.

Scrubs containing exfoliating ingredients like salt, apricot, pumpkin, caffeine etc can be used as mild skin polishing agents.
